The Vintage Village Fair is at the Market Hall in Stockport. The pop-up ‘village’ appears in Stockport’s Victorian covered market hall all throughout the year.
From clothing and accessories to vintage jewellery and homewares and locally handmade crafts with a vintage flavour, “There's so much to see, at very affordable prices with some great bargains to be found.”
Past visitors have even included blogger A Thrifty Mrs and retail expert Mary Portas.
Running every second Sunday of each month to the general public, this year it has reached three years and is celebrating with a birthday fair on Sunday 8th September. The event is running from 10am until 4pm and entry is just £1, and free for under 12s, at the Covered Market Hall in Stockport.
You can also on the day vote for your favourite vintage traders - the Vintage Village Traders’ Award will be presented at VV’s Super Plaza Fair on October 13th.
Refreshments on the day will be available from award winning gourmet British pie creators Lord of the Pies, as well as American US State themed burgers and cocktails from Kegs & Co and “sweet treats” from award-winning Stuart Thornley Cake Design and Kandoo Mobile Coffee.
They say “Suggested dress code for the day: vintage party! Any era, pick your favourite!”
