There are two exciting collections of football programmes coming up
in our 20 November Auction Sale.
The first is Lot 687, a collection of nearly 200 Manchester United Football Club
programmes from the 1940's to the 1960's.
The second smaller collection of 30 programmes is Lot 688,
this mainly includes Manchester City programmes.
Lot 687: MUFC Programmes

This collection comprises 160 home match programmes, from the late 1940’s to
the 1960s. It includes the match vs. Sheffield Wednesday on the 19th Feb 1958,
the first match after the infamous Munich Air Disaster, which has a blank team line-up.
This lot also includes several European Cup programmes,
the John Aston Testimonial Match (25th April 1956)
and FA Youth Challenge Cup programmes.
Lot 687 is estimated to sell for £650 to £850 but may go much higher!

Lot 688: MCFC Programmes
The Manchester City programmes range from the early 1920s to the 1960s.
This collection includes match vs. Tottenham Hotspur on 14th March 1923
and match vs. Stoke City on 3rd March 1934 that had
Matt Busby playing for City and Stanley Matthews for Stoke.
This lot also comprises 4 misc. programmes inc. Stockport County vs Barrow
on 25th Janurary 1947, Blackpool vs Burnley on 7th May 1949 and
Stockport Boys vs London Boys Schoolboys Challenge on 1st January 1960.
We are estimating this collection conservatively at £250 - £350.
